Research Associate #1

---------------------------

A post-doctoral position is available for excellent Early Career Researchers. This project involves the discovery and recombinant expression of antibodies for mitigating snakebite-inflicted mortality and morbidity.

Expected start date: April 1st, 2024

Duration: 1 year + extendable

Qualification: The candidate should have a PhD, preferably in protein engineering, biochemistry or molecular biology. Prior working experience of 2-3 years as an RA/Postdoc is preferable.

Desired skills: Academic training and competency in performing SDS-PAGE, RP-HPLC, and size-exclusion, affinity, immuno and ion-exchange chromatography. A working understanding of protein chemistry, fractionation methodologies, and mass-spectrometric analyses is essential. Candidates, preferably with a strong publication record in the field, are highly desirable.

Research Associate #2

A fully funded post-doctoral position is available for excellent Early Career Researchers. This project involves proteomic characterisation and purification of venom proteins. 

Expected start date: April 1st, 2024

Duration: 1 year + extendable

Qualification: The candidate should have a PhD, preferably in immunology or molecular biology. Prior working experience in these aspects is preferable.

Desired skills: Academic training and competency in molecular cloning, mammalian cell culture, protein expression, purification of antibodies, and cell sorting techniques are necessary. Candidates with a strong publication record and experience in analyses of RNA-seq data would be preferred.
